October 25, 2026
After a strange, spaced-out week, when everything felt a little surreal, this morning something changed. I knew it was time.
This morning I ate, spent a couple of hours finishing whatever still needed doing, and left around 10:15.
What made me emotional was saying goodbye to my garden. To the flowers I had loved, and that had embraced me all summer.
Sono partito. I’ve left.
It’s a beautiful fall day. After all that uncertainty, things have begun to make sense again. I feel at peace. There is a quiet around me that feels good.
In a few hours, I’ll be somewhere in Iowa for my first show. For now, I’m on the road, carrying the feeling of that goodbye and wondering what comes next.
